This doc is going to ROCK! I love a good documentary--Standing in the Shadows of Motown, A Decade Under the Influence, Out Of Ireland, Hoop Dreams, The Wrecking Crew, American Movie, Go Tigers...what am I missing? American Teen is gonna be right up there. And they're doing a really good job with their promo materials, their facebook page has all kinds of cool stuff on it: http://www.facebook.com/americanteen They're really making the most of the site. Gonna be sweet.

Gotta add Mad Hot Ballroom and Spellbound to my doc list. Those were great.

And I played around more on the facebook page for American Teen, they have a great application where you can find out what type you were in high school--princess, jock, rebel...I was a geek. They've also got some meet & greets and parties with the cast, some special screenings around the country, giveaways, soundtrack info (including bios and touring dates of the bands)--very thorough stuff. Way beyond what I've seen some other movies do with the facebook format.
