Falco - Rock me amadeus - early 80's Music: If early '80s pop smelled of cheese, Falco was Gouda. While this crafter of Vienna-centric Euro-pop is agonizingly kitsch ("pretentious but worthless") by today's standards, the guy deserves credit for his chutzpah (I'll leave that to your imagination). The guy had enough cajones (see chuzpah) to declare - in the song - that his release of "Rock Me Amadeus" was among the more notable events associated with the life of fellow Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
