GRAPHIC EVIDENCE — Plane Crash — X-Ray Papa: Video portfolio sample. Produced by John-Michael Battaglia while employed by Graphic Evidence, a division of Litigation Sciences, this is a sample of a video used in courtroom trials by attorneys as demonstrative evidence to support their case. Due to the requirements of the legal process pertaining to the presentation of such graphic evidence, only straight-forward, unbiased renderings of factual information is permitted. This particular video uses computer animated graphics, conversations between the pilot and the air traffic controllers, and other elements to present the jury with an objectively rendered illustration of the salient facts, so that they can more easily "see" the events at the heart of case and reach an honest, accurate verdict. WARNING: While this video contains no violent or horrific imagery, it does present an actual conversation between air traffic controllers and a pilot(s) who perishes during the flight, so it may not be for the squeamish. (The Chyron operator in the post production house where I assembled all the elements together into the final product asked me not to bring her any more projects like this one, because her husband was a pilot and doing this work disturbed her. I, too, could not do this job for very long.) Graphic Evidence/Litigation Sciences, Inc. retains the copyright to this video. The producer has customary artist's right to show his portfolio copy to prospective clients and employers as a work sample. This digitization of the original video production is merely being hosted on Google's servers so that the digital file may be linked to the producer's portfolio web site at
