My Extreme Work @ 58,000 km/hr New Land Speed, Rail, Air Records all broken here : Days 4000kms 65,000 photos in 25 Minutes. Not in realtime! Speeds are measured and estimated on distance travelled, time the sequence runs in the video, and are highly conservative. A typical week for me in my work. Video is shot entirely on location in the North Island, on a Sony DSC1 Digital Still Camera - Not a video camera. An experimental project - particularly the 400km journeys up and down the north island. Thankyou to all of the people who assisted me in this project by taking photos for me, my apologies to anyone missed out of the credits, and thanks for their permission for the photos to be used in this video particularly Ngati Tuwharetoa (Wai575, Lou, Napa, Dickson, Turoa, Stephen and co) of National Park North Island New Zealand. The 65,000 plus frames were all taken manually, usinga tripod setup in the car, by a co-piot or myself. The were compiled using Virtual Dub, and edited in MS Movie Maker - A bit rough but I was short on time as wanted to present it at a National ESRI GIS conference the following week to add some interest to a relatively uninteresting technical presentation on ArcReader. Not as smooth flowing as my other video's, which were mostly made in Powerpoint and Movie Maker. Prepared and Published by Duane Wilkins Wellington New Zealand
